Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and use evidence-based ABA techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and physical activity throughout the day. We provide comprehensive training and support, enabling you to help each child reach their potential, even if you are new

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
