Job summary

Centria Autism in Sandy, Oregon is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with each child, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's supervision and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, able to work in a team, and comfortable assisting with positioning and lifting up to 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques and collect progress data.
