Job summary

Centria Autism in Deming, NM is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Training is provided, and candidates should be patient, compassionate, and capable of working well in a team.

The role involves physical tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $16–$23 per hour. We offer a structured path in behavioral analysis, access to Employee Assistance, and early wage access through Rain.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and a TB test (if not had in last year).
• Pass a preemployment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
