Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join their team in Corrales, New Mexico. In this role, you'll work with children on individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. The position requires patience, compassion, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comprehensive training is provided, and you will play a vital role in helping children with autism develop communication and daily living skills. Pay ranges from $16 to $23 per hour, with several perks offered.
Qualifications
Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
18+ years of age.
Ability to pass a preemployment background check.
Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
Responsibilities
Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills.
Handle unpredictable behaviors of children with autism.
