Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Texas to work one-on-one with children under a BCBA's guidance, implementing individualized intervention plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

You’ll gain comprehensive training, enjoy a supportive team environment, and can grow within the Behavioral Analysis field, with pay ranging from $18 to $25 per hour and opportunities to make a meaningful difference daily.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
