Job summary

Ro Health Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians support teachers and students with learning disabilities in classroom settings, assisting with instructional activities and providing individualized support for diverse learners.

The role covers Morgan Hill, Gilroy, Hollister and South San Jose, starting this month and continuing through the current school year, with possible summer and 2026-27 extension. A passion for helping others and strong attendance and communication are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings.
• Experience in classroom environment, preferably private school.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
• Ability to educate and inspire children through creative teaching methods.
• Familiarity with curriculum development processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Nurturing attitude toward children.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities.
• Support students with academic tasks and understanding.
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain orderly learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum to individual student needs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in literacy.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Engage in early childhood education practices to promote development.
