Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in Virginia seeks a compassionate Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children ages 2–15 in home-based settings, implementing individualized behavioral plans designed by BCBA supervisors. You will collect data and help families apply strategies to support progress.

This role offers flexible part-time/evening hours, paid training, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a lasting impact on families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges or developmental delays preferred.
• Exposure to ASD or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though training will be provided.
• Reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication; follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and applicable parties.
• Assist clients with activities requiring physical effort and mobility.
• Other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
