Job summary

Proud Moments ABA in New Jersey is seeking Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will provide 1-1 treatment in clients' homes, under BCBA supervision, to implement individualized behavior plans.

The role is part-time with a fixed afternoon schedule, 3pm-7pm, Monday through Friday, with some weekends. You will collect data, monitor progress, and support families in applying treatment plans. We value reliability, clear communication, and a passion for helping children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation to commute to work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report outcomes.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs of clients, families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear communication with families, supervisors, and relevant parties.
• Physical activity to keep pace with children during sessions (lifting 25+ pounds, etc.).
• Perform other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
• Fixed schedule Monday–Friday 3pm–7pm, some weekends.
