Job summary

Proud Moments ABA is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver 1-1 ABA services in clients' homes across New Jersey. You will work under a BCBA to implement treatment plans for children aged 2-15, collecting data and supporting families in applying strategies.

Flexible part-time after-school hours with paid training, team support, and growth opportunities. This role emphasizes reliable transportation and strong communication with families and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.
• Prior experience providing support to children or adults with behavioral challenges or developmental delays preferred.
• Exposure to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities is preferred, though comprehensive training will be provided.
• Reliable personal transportation with the ability to commute consistently to assigned work locations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of client, family, and organizational information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to follow detailed instructions and document information accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to stay organized and adapt to changing schedules or priorities.
• Work schedule is part-time after school hours.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with a client in their home to implement behavioral plans designed by BCBA.
• Collect data to monitor progress and report progress.
• Support BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors.
• Maintain clear lines of communication with families, supervisors, and other applicable parties.
• Physically keep up with clients as they move about the session area, including activities like standing, sitting, bending, lifting 25+ pounds, running, squatting, kneeling.
• Any other tasks outlined by BCBA/LBA.
