Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our growing team in Whitman, MA. This part-time, fee-for-service position involves implementing behavior support plans and providing ABA-based instruction under supervision to promote client development.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 24 months’ related experience, or an associate degree or higher in a related field with 12 months experience, or RBT certification with 12 months experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 24 months experience with developmental disabilities or related populations.
• Associates degree or higher in relevant field and 12 months experience with developmental disabilities.
• RBT certification with 12 months experience with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problem behaviors.
• Provide ABA-based instruction to promote development of new skills.
• Monitor and data-track client behavior and report to supervising BCBA.
• Collaborate with BCBA and family to support meaningful behavior change.
