Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing training, and a commitment to helping children reach their full potential; lifting and movement are required as clients may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA supervision.
• Participate in comprehensive training and work in a collaborative team environment.
