Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped and empowered to help each child. You must be patient, compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable standing

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and a TB test, and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist children in masking challenging behaviors while maintaining safety and comfort.
