Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking energetic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting under BCBA supervision.

You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills, and help reduce challenging behaviors while maintaining a caring, patient, and team-oriented approach. Training is provided; equipment and safety protocols are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done recently).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
