Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is seeking a caring part-time technician to support children and teens with autism in their homes and local centers. You will receive full paid training and will work flexible hours Monday through Friday, 8am–6pm, up to 30 hours per week.

You’ll help kids learn through play, become a certified Behavior Technician, and grow within a supportive team. English proficiency, reliability, and a big heart are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed and at least one college semester or currently enrolled.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, driver's license, and insurance.
• Willingness to pass background and health checks; complete mandatory training including 40 hours of RBT training and CPR/CPI.

Responsibilities

• Teach kids through play to develop new skills and behavior.
• Be a positive role model and celebrate small daily progress.
• Move around and stay active during sessions with families.
• Track progress and report outcomes to families and team.

Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needsDaily pay access available so you can get paid as you earnCompensation: $22-$28/hrBonus: Spanish speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.We'll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - earn an additional $0.50 an hour upon completion.What You’ll NeedHigh School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)Reliable car, driver’s license, and insuranceWillingness to pass background and health checksSuccessful completion of mandatory training which includes: New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps.
