Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is hiring for a part-time caregiver to support children and teens with autism in Albuquerque. You’ll work mainly in clients’ homes, with some sessions at local centers, 3:30pm–8pm, Monday–Friday. Training is provided, and Spanish fluency is required, with an extra $0.50/hr for Spanish speakers.

You will help kids learn through play, track progress, and support families. A reliable car and background checks are required, and compensation ranges from $22–$28 per hour with

• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer)
• Spanish fluency required
• Reliable car, driver's license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Successful completion of mandatory training including RBT training and exam

No certification required! Just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.).

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours)
• Hours: Availability required 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $22-$28/hr
  
  

Note: Spanish fluency is required. Spanish speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.

• We'll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - earn an additional $0.50 an hour upon completion.
  
  

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Successful completion of mandatory training which includes: New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps. You will also need to pass an exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos
