Job summary

Autism Learning Partners in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a caring individual for a part-time role to support children and teens with autism. Most sessions occur in the client’s home, with some in local centers, and paid daily via means described. You will work 4–5 weekdays after 3:30pm, up to 20 hours per week.

No certification is required to start; full paid training is provided, with opportunities to pursue RBT certification and earn additional pay for Spanish language fluency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed and at least one college semester.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, driver's license and insurance.
• Willingness to pass background and health checks.
• Mandatory training including New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, CPR, CPI, and overlaps; pass exam for RBT.

No certification required! Just 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children (babysitting, tutoring, camp counseling, church/youth groups, etc.).

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Part-Time (Up to 20 hours)
• Hours: Availability required 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $22-$28/hr

Bonus

Spanish speakers earn an additional $0.50/hr.

• We’ll help you earn your Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification - earn an additional $0.50 an hour upon completion.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Successful completion of mandatory training which includes: New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and overlaps. You will also need to pass an exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos
