Job summary

Autism Learning Partners is seeking caring individuals to support children and teens with autism in their homes and local centers. This full-time role offers in-home sessions, paid training, and opportunities for advancement.

You will help children learn through play, track progress, and collaborate with families and a support team. A high school diploma and at least 6 months of experience with kids are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least one college semester completed.
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, driver’s license and insurance.
• Pass background and health checks.
• Able to read, write and speak English proficiently.

Responsibilities

• Help kids learn through play, teaching new skills via activities and games.
• Be a positive role model, encouraging progress and celebrating small victories.
• Stay active during sessions, moving, playing, and engaging with children.
• Keep records of activities and progress; training provided.

Schedule & Pay

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Hours: Availability required all weekdays Monday through Friday 8am - 6pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
• Work Setting — you’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in our local centers depending on your client’s needs
• Daily pay access available so you can get paid as you earn
• Compensation: $21.00-$28.00/hr.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma or GED completed AND at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled in college courses)
• 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
• Reliable car, driver’s license, and insurance
• Willingness to pass background and health checks
• Ability to read, write, and speak English Proficiently
• A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

What You’ll Do

• Help Kids Learn Through Play: Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions — often through fun games or activities.
• Be a Positive Role Model: Encourage progress and celebrate small victories every day.
• Stay Active: You’ll be moving around, playing, and engaging throughout your sessions.
• Keep Things Organized: Track what you worked on and how your kiddo did (we’ll train you on this too).
• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope.
