Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavio r Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism in a supportive team environment. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and the ability to move and assist children safely, with pay ranging from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Collaborate with BCBA and care teams to monitor progress and adjust plans
