Job summary

BlueSprig is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) in Florida to provide ABA therapy for children with autism in center or home settings. Training is provided, with mentorship and opportunities for growth within a structured career ladder.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and mobility requirements.
• Must obtain Florida Driver License before end of training.
• Fingerprinting for Florida Medicaid is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in center-based and/or home-based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self‑help skills to children with autism.
• Work one‑on‑one or in small groups with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings and meetings for professional development.
• Follow all policies, confidentiality, and mandated reporting standards.

Overview

Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Pay, Benefits & Perks

• Competitive pay:

• $20.00-$22.00/hour for billable RBT hours based on experience

• Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 15.0 for each billable client hour worked

• 14.00/hour paid for all non-billable training and administrative time

• Candidates with an active RBT certification at the time of hire will receive a$200-bonus on their first paycheck

• Fully paid training - no experiencerequired

• Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

• Hours vary based on client needs and scheduling

• Optional Saturdays available twice per month based on client needs
