Job summary

SenseSational Learning Group is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to deliver 1:1 play-based ABA support for neurodivergent children in homes and community settings in Michigan. You will follow BCBA plans, collect progress data, and communicate with families under supervision.

The part-time role offers paid training, coverage of RBT exam and application fees, mileage reimbursement, and ongoing supervision toward certification within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 1:1 support for children using play-based ABA techniques.
• Experience working with children is preferred.
• 40-hour RBT training completed or willingness to complete before start date.
• Reliable transportation to homes and community sites on time.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active with kids.

Pay: $20-$23 per hour (depending on experience)

Who We Are

We’re a small, BCBA-owned ABA practice focused on play-based, naturalistic therapy for neurodivergent kids. No table drills—just meaningful skill-building through play in homes, schools, and communities. We’re growing intentionally, and we need playful, patient, and observant people to join our team.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 support to children using play-based ABA techniques
• Work in homes and community settings (parks, libraries, schools)
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by our BCBA team
• Collect data and communicate progress with families and supervisors
• Build genuine relationships with kids and families

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to get to homes and community sites on time
• 40‑hour RBT training completed (or willingness to complete before start date)
• Previous experience working with children
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be physically active with kids
