Job summary

Advanced Behavioral Therapy in Newton, NJ is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician to provide Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder. You will work in home and school settings to support development and independence.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with clinicians, collecting data to assess progress, communicating with families, and maintaining accurate session notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children and in ABA settings is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Experience working with children
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with ASD
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

Schedule:

• Monday, Thursday, Friday 3pm-6pm, Saturday & Sunday 9am-12pm.
