Job summary

Coyne & Associates is a dynamic ABA agency serving children for over 20 years. As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work in clients’ homes, delivering one-on-one sessions under supervision of BCBAs.

We offer hands-on learning, paid training at your full rate, and flexible hours including part-time and Saturday gigs. Requirements include 60 college units with experience or a bachelor’s in related field, valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• 60 college units and 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR 60 college units and 6 months experience, OR a Bachelor's degree with 6 months of experience.
• You must be 21+ years old and have or obtain a California Driver's License, auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel to client homes and perform in-home sessions with children.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children with developmental delays/autism in homes.
• Take notes and track progress to inform sessions.
• Coach caregivers to apply ABA strategies in daily moments.
• Drive to client homes and between client sites as needed.
• Use a company-issued iPad for data collection.

Here’s What We’re Looking For:

• 60 college units and 1 year of supervised experience in early intervention, OR
• 60 college units (including 12 units in a related field such as Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children, OR
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Child Development, Special Education, or Education) and 6 months of experience working with children.

• You’re ages 21+ (our insurance says so)
• You have or are willing to obtain a California Driver's License (or are active military/military dependent), you're insured on an auto insurance policy, and you have a reliable vehicle

Compensation: Pay range represents a good‑faith estimate the Company reasonably expects to pay at time of hire. Based on position, employees may also be eligible for incentives, drive time pay, mileage reimbursement, overtime pay in accordance with state and federal laws, last minute cancellation pay, 401k benefits, health benefits, paid time off, holiday pay and paid sick leave in accordance with state and local laws.
