Job summary

Connect ABA + Therapy is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to support individuals with ASD across homes, schools, and community settings. Under BCBA supervision, you will implement BIPs, deliver ABA-based instruction, and collect data to track progress.

You will work with clients and families, participate in ongoing training, and contribute to meaningful skill development while upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
• Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
