Job summary

Surpass Behavioral Health is hiring a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team serving children and teens with autism across clinical, school, or home settings. Under a BCBA, you will provide one-on-one therapy, implement individualized ABA-based plans, and help learners reach their goals.

You'll collaborate with the BCBA and caregivers, complete session notes and data, and use engaging materials to keep learners motivated.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to earn RBT certification within 45 days.
• Experience with kids with autism preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Full-time is at least 30 hours weekly.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized ABA-based treatment plans.
• Assist with challenging behaviors and maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with BCBA to keep caregivers updated on progress.
• Complete session notes and timesheets.
• Collect and record data on socially significant behaviors.
• Use engaging instructional materials to motivate learners.
