Job summary

The Center for Human Services in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Behavior Technician to support individuals needing applied behavioral analysis. You will implement ABA-based therapy under direct supervision, document daily progress, and report updates to the BCBA.

Responsibilities include data collection, caregiver collaboration, and adherence to BACB ethics and CHS policies. Full-time schedule with daytime hours and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• 6 months experience in the developmental disabilities field or related roles.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check.
• BT-Credentialed through BACB within 90 days of hire to become an RBT.
• Must complete CHS HR policy training HRD-P-022.
• Must obtain Class E driver's license within 30 days of starting.
• Provide proof of personal valid vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Complete 40 hours of RBT training under the supervision of the BCBA.
• Pass the RBT credentialing exam within the first 90 days of hire.
• Provide one-on-one treatment to individuals as needed.
• Implement and maintain feedback from the treating BCBA.
• Develop professional relationships with caregivers and provide progress feedback.
• Facilitate teaching of communication, self-help, social, and other targeted skills.
• Keep and track accurate data collection according to the treatment plan and progress.
