Pathways Strategic Teaching Center, part of the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, seeks a Behavior Technician/Teacher Assistant to implement ABA-based education programs in classrooms.

You will collect data, support teachers, and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment for students with developmental disabilities. The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to behavioral plans, and active participation in student treatment teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits or TA/Paraprofessional certification.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and own vehicle required for transport.

Responsibilities

• Protect the rights and dignities of individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Implement instructional strategies consistently and accurately.
• Collect data and participate in data management.
• Coordinate classroom activities when the Teacher is absent.
• Work as part of a team to support students, classrooms, and staff.
