Job summary

Caravel Autism Health is hiring a Behavior Technician BT to work 1:1 with children aged 18 months to 6 years in a center-based ABA program in Rockford, IL. You’ll deliver therapy under BCBA supervision, track progress, and build essential skills through play while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Initial paid training to become an RBT is provided, with opportunities for growth toward BCBA. Full-time hours, competitive pay, and benefits support your long-term career in autism services.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
• Interest or experience in psychology, education, healthcare, or human services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ABA therapy under BCBA supervision per individualized plans.
• Build skills through play and connection to help children feel safe to try new tasks.
• Track progress and document sessions using ABA software.
• Create a safe, positive environment for every child.
• Prepare for RBT certification within 45 days of employment.
