Job summary

Behavior Interventions, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Behavior Technician (BT) for evening shifts across multiple locations in PA, including Telford, Horsham, Jenkintown, Chalfont, and more. Training will prepare you for the RBT exam, with potential pay increases upon certification and career advancement opportunities.

The role involves delivering ABA-based intervention, collecting data, and supporting families, while working under supervision and advancing toward BCBA credentials.

Qualifications

• Provides behavioral intervention based on the science of ABA to support skill development and/or reduction of problematic behaviors.
• Establishes and maintains therapeutic relationship with client, caregiver and other family members through rapport building.
• Collects accurate data per program specifications.
• Maintains administrative and non-clinical functions to ensure continued success of families served, treatment team, employee and organization as a whole.
• Attends trainings, monthly supervision meetings and other meetings as assigned.
• Operates as a mandated reporter; reports signs of abuse or neglect.

Responsibilities

Education

High school diploma

Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, sociology, behavioral health

Position: Behavior Technician (BT)

Location: Telford , Horsham , Jenkintown, Chalfont , Abington, Willow Grove, Elkins Park, Wyncote, Huntingdon Valley, and Glenside (can be multiple locations)

Pay: $20.81 per hour clinical rate

($26.53 with Registered Behavior Technician credential)

Bonus: $500 Sign-On Bonus

Schedules: Part-Time opportunities available. Cases available between 7:00am and 7:00pm daily

BII is offering an intensive 4 week training program that enhances knowledge and experience in the field of ABA working directly with clients with ASD and other developmental delays. The training program includes online webinars, role-play and competency-based practice, and direct observation of service provided with a concentration on specific skills. At the conclusion of the training, trainees will have the necessary requirements completed to schedule their RBT exam. As an RBT, employees will be eligible for a pay increase and more options for cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Bachelors degree (e.g. education, counseling, psychology, sociology, behavioral health) and related work experience preferred and may be required for certain cases
• Satisfactory results of required Federal, State and provider specific background checks
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Reliable transportation is required
• Ability to physically stand, walk, bend, kneel, crawl, and squat while exerting 5-10lbs. constantly, 25lbs. frequently and up to 100lbs. occasionally
