Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate staff to help children with social and communication skills, following structured behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

You will document progress and milestones to track development and outcomes. The role offers hourly pay with flexible shifts (morning, afternoon, and evening) and opportunities for tuition reimbursement, mileage compensation, and a range of Maxim benefits including health, dental, and 401(k)

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience or coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development preferred; 1 year with children in related roles considered.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
