Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adults in home and community settings. You will receive guidance from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and help clients develop communication, social, and adaptive skills.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field
• One year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, paraprofessional, child development professional, camp counselor or similar role may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills
• Support positive behavior development
• Record session data and client progress
• Create engaging and structured learning environments

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

College coursework in Psychology Education Social Work Behavioral Science Human Development or related field

Required:

  • ABA Therapist
  • Behavioral Interventionist
  • Paraprofessional
  • Child Development Professional
  • Camp Counselor
  • Similar child-focused role

Additional Details

• Services are provided in clients' homes and community settings
• Travel between client locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement available when eligible
• Paid training and ongoing support provided
