Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children with personalized, play-based learning. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, with paid training and clear growth opportunities.

No ABA experience required—we provide hands-on training and ongoing coaching to help you succeed. You’ll provide 1:1 in-home or clinic support, implement behavior plans under a BCBA, track progress, and document session notes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older required.
• Background check and TB test and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for in-home services.
• Willingness to travel 15–20 miles radius.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children/adolescents.
• Use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills.
• Follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to travel within a 15–20 mile radius

(ABA or RBT experience is a plus, but not required!)

Schedule Requirements

• Afternoon availability (after school hours)
• At least 4 days per week
• Occasional weekend availability may be requested
