Job summary

Positive Behavior Steps in California is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide 1:1 in-home or clinic-based support to children and adolescents. You will use play-based activities to teach communication, behavior, and life skills, and follow behavior plans designed by a BCBA.

No ABA experience required; paid training and ongoing support to become an RBT, with weekly coaching, monthly trainings, growth opportunities, and attendance bonuses.

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to travel within a 15–20 mile radius
• ABA or RBT experience is a plus, but not required!

Schedule Requirements

• Afternoon availability (after school hours)
• At least 4 days per week
• Occasional weekend availability may be requested
