Job summary

Career Based Solutions is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician (BT) to administer 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in-school, or in-clinic under BCBA supervision. The role emphasizes data collection, client progress, and collaboration with families to drive outcomes.

Eligible candidates should have or be willing to obtain RBT certification, with paid training and certification assistance. Prior ABA exposure and reliable transportation are valued; travel locally may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification.
• Experience in ABA therapy or with children is a plus but not required.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-clinic.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.

• Pay Range: $18 - $22/hour

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, or in-clinic

• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

• Collect and document data on client progress

• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have or be willing to obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification

• Eligible candidates will receive a bonus upon RBT certification completion

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred

• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required

• Ability to pass background check

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
