Position
Behavior Technician (Behavior Respite Program)
Locations: Dublin or Livermore, also available in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties.
Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (In-Person)
Salary: $28 - $31 per hour
Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile for travel between clients
Flexible Scheduling: Afternoons, evenings, and weekends available!
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in fun & meaningful activities such as games, walks, crafts, and other preference-based activities.
- Help prevent challenging behaviors by applying proactive behavior strategies and antecedent-based interventions.
- Provide caregiver relief and support by giving parents and caregivers a break while ensuring the client is in safe and caring hands.
- Receive hands‑on training and support from BCBAs and Mid‑Level Supervisors.
- Advance your career in ABA by pursuing professional development opportunities and pathways to becoming an RBT or BCBA.

Requirements
- 1+ year of experience (preferred but not required).
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations if needed.
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 15-30 hours per week.
