Job summary

ASAT A Step At A Time Care seeks a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy across in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center settings. You will follow treatment plans created by a BCBA and collect data on client progress, collaborating with families and team members to ensure success.

The role requires a High School diploma (some college preferred) and willingness to pass a background check. Travel locally and reliable transportation are expected, with strong commitment to client

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center.

• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Comply with the BACB code of ethics for RBTs.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $12 - $25/hour
• Full- or Part-Time Positions: Monday through Friday and weekends (optional and flexible)
• Location: Salisbury, MD

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
