Job summary

ASAT: ABA a Step At A Time care is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to provide high-quality 1:1 ABA therapy across home, school, and community settings. You’ll implement BCBA-designed plans and track client progress with families and team members for meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; ABA experience is a plus.
• Background check required; reliable transportation and ability to travel locally preferred.
• Experience with children and in-home/clinic settings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in-school, or in-clinic.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and document client progress data.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe, confidential, and ethical therapy environment.
• Adhere to BACB ethics and pursue ongoing professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in-home, in-school, in-community, or in-center.
• Implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Collect and document data on client progress.
• Collaborate with families and team members to ensure client success.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment during therapy sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and respoect for clients.
• Abide by the BACB's code of ethics for Registered Behavior technicians.
• Continue with professional development.

Behavior Technician (BT) Compensation and Schedule:

• Pay Range: $12 - $25/hour
• Full- or Part-Time Positions: Monday through Friday and weekends (optional and flexible)
• Location: Salisbury, MD

Behavior Technician (BT) Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in ABA therapy or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
