Job summary

Behavioral Framework seeks a Part-Time In Home Behavior Technician to support children with autism in their homes, implementing ABA plans and documenting progress.

You will typically work 4-5 afternoon/evening sessions per week, 4-5 hours each, with ongoing mentorship from a BCBA and opportunities for growth within behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• High School or Equivalent Education.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Access to a mobile device and ability to navigate Zoom and Email.
• Physically able to participate in ABA therapy.
• Must have visual acuity to determine accuracy of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children in their homes.
• Implement individualized behavior plans created by BCBA supervisor.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage progress.
• Collect session data and write progress notes.

In Home Behavior Technician (Part-Time)

At Behavioral Framework, we help children and young adults (up to age 21) build communication, social, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As a Part-Time Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with a child in their home, implementing personalized behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

This role is ideal for individuals interested in psychology, education, social work, behavioral health, or working with children. No prior ABA experience is required - we provide free training and certification.

Our technicians typically work 4-5 afternoon/evening shifts per week with the same client for 4-5 hour sessions, building consistent relationships that help children make meaningful progress.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (childcare, tutoring, teaching, coaching, etc.)
• High School or Equivalent Education
• Valid Driver's License
• Must have reliable transportation/Car - Bus and Uber are not considered reliable transportation.
• Access to a mobile device and ability to navigate technology platforms such as Zoom and Email
• Physically and actively able to participate in the implementation of all aspects of ABA therapy
• Must have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
• Must be able to receive detailed information through oral communication.
• Must be available 4-5 weekdays, working 4-5 hours per day within that window. Specific schedules are assigned based on client needs.
