Job summary

Behavioral Framework in Charlotte, NC is looking for a part-time In Home Behavior Technician to support children with autism. You will implement individualized behavior plans, provide essential skills training, and enjoy flexible afternoon/evening shifts.

In Home Behavior Technician (Part-Time)

At Behavioral Framework, we help children and young adults (up to age 21) build communication, social, and daily living skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. As a Part‑Time Behavior Technician, you’ll work one‑on‑one with a child in their home, implementing personalized behavior plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

No prior ABA experience is required — we provide free training and certification. Technicians typically work 4–5 afternoon/evening shifts per week with the same client for 4–5 hour sessions, building consistent relationships that help children make meaningful progress.

What You’ll Do

• Implement individualized behavior plans created by your BCBA supervisor
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Use positive reinforcement strategies to encourage progress
• Collect session data and write progress notes
• Collaborate with your BCBA and caregivers to support client development
• Engage in play‑based learning activities that build trust and skills

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with children (childcare, tutoring, teaching, coaching, etc.)
• High School or Equivalent Education
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation (car required; bus and Uber are not acceptable)
• Access to a mobile device and ability to navigate technology platforms such as Zoom and Email
• Physically and actively capable of implementing all aspects of ABA therapy
• Visual acuity sufficient to ensure accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work
• Able to receive detailed information through oral communication
• Available 4–5 weekdays between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., for 4–5 hours per day within that window; specific schedules are assigned based on client needs

Starting pay: $20/hour, with opportunities to increase to $23/hour as early as 6 months.
