Job summary

Step Forward ABA is hiring Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children using evidence-based ABA techniques. You will help kids develop communication, social skills, and independence in a supportive, inclusive environment.

The role involves implementing behavior plans, collecting data, coordinating with analysts and families, and maintaining accurate records. Travel to in-home settings may be required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Pass a National Criminal Background check.
• RBT Certification (preferred).
• Completion of certification process within 30 days of employment.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to physically engage with children (lift up to 30lbs).
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
• Willing to travel and work in-home settings.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Ability to physically engage with children in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 30lbs and maintaining a safe and tidy workspace.
• Spanish-speaking skills are a plus but not required.
• Must be willing to travel and work in-home settings.
• Childcare (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.) (Preferred)
• Mental health advocates and professionals (QMHP, behavioral health technicians) (Preferred)
• Camp counselors, volunteers, youth faith group leaders or youth coaching (Preferred)
• Degrees in special education, teaching, psychology, sociology, or related fields (Preferred)
• Experience as direct support, paraprofessionals, or life skills assistants (Preferred)
