Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Behavior Aide to support K-12 students with special needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools under FullBloom. You will collaborate with the teacher to deliver small-group instruction, monitor progress, and reinforce skills using SESI’s CASE PBIS framework.

Starting pay is USD 18.00 per hour. A high school diploma is required, college experience or a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in educational settings preferred.
• Ability to monitor progress and apply behavior support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students in small groups.
• Lead small group instruction with SESI’s rotational model.
• Collaborate with the teacher to provide customized support and assessments.
• Reinforce learning by assigning tasks and using data to tailor materials.
• Assist with large group activities and modify instruction as needed.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation strategies to ensure safety.
• Document student growth and coordinate with staff to address needs.
