Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a behavior tech to support students with intensive behavioral needs in special and alternative education settings nationwide.

You will collaborate with school staff to deliver customized behavior support and apply positive behavioral interventions from the CASE PBIS framework. • Experience implementing behavioural interventions for students with intensive needs.
• Ability to remain composed in stressful situations and support student wellbeing.
• Willingness to assist across settings to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide customized behavior support using positive behavioral interventions.
• Record, track, and report on behavioural incidents and progress toward goals.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to develop social and behavioral skills.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to differentiate support for students.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress.
