Job summary

Sevita is hiring a Behavior Support Professional to provide community-based services to individuals with IDD. You will develop training plans, supervise staff, and monitor progress toward behavioral goals in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, adherence to Positive Behavior Support standards, and regular on-site training. Travel may be required to support clients across sites.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS in a human services field and state regulations training.
• One year of professional experience in intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements adaptive skills training plans for individuals.
• Provides training to Direct Support Professionals on intervention methods.
• Monitors and revises plans based on monthly programming results.
• Collaborates with teams to ensure Positive Behavior Support strategies are applied.
• Maintains documentation, data accuracy, and confidentiality.
