Job summary

FullBloom's SESI division is seeking a behavior support specialist to work with students who have intensive behavioral needs. You will collaborate with teachers and leaders to implement individualized plans and reinforce positive behaviors across classrooms.

You will document progress, participate in debriefs, and communicate with families, while applying PBIS strategies. The role emphasizes resilience, flexibility, and teamwork in a supportive, standards-aligned school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering behavioral interventions in educational settings.
• Strong emotional resilience and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexible and collaborative team player to support student safety.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Monitor and support students across classrooms and transition areas.
• Help create and implement behavior support plans.
• Document incidents and track progress toward goals.
• Apply PBIS strategies and school incentive programs.
• Use de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention when needed.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Participate in debriefings after challenging incidents.
