Chester County Intermediate Unit seeks a Behavior Mentor to implement proactive, evidence-based strategies with students and staff. You will model PBSPs, collect data on IEP goals, and communicate trends to classroom staff under the supervision of the behavior analyst.

You will collaborate with teachers, maintain detailed student records, and help arrange learning environments to promote success for students with emotional and behavioral needs.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with students with significant emotional and behavioral needs.
• Experience working in schools.
• Experience working with community agencies servicing children.
• Ability to relate well to adolescent population.

Aufgaben

• Assist students by reinforcing universal expectations and applying specified behavior strategies.
• Collaborate with classroom staff to implement PBSPs and collect data on goals and interventions.
• Model proactive, evidence-based strategies for classroom staff and communicate progress.
• Maintain paperwork for each student (IEP overview, PBSPs, goals, data tools).
• Arrange learning environments to support student success.
• Enter daily data into templates and log discipline referrals into the SIS.
• Assist with data collection, graphing, and reporting to staff.
