Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a Behavior Support Specialist to assist students with intensive behavioral needs within K-12 settings.

You will collaborate with teachers and leaders to implement individualized behavior support plans, monitor progress, document incidents, and support safety and well-being on campus. You will participate in a multidisciplinary team, facilitate communication with parents, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning

Qualifications

• Know-how to remain calm and positive under stress.
• Experience applying PBIS or similar behavioral supports.
• Ability to interpret and implement behavior plans.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Monitor and document student progress and incidents.
• Develop and implement behavior support plans with the team.
• Use de-escalation and crisis management techniques when needed.
• Communicate with parents and coordinate with interdisciplinary staff.
