Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, partners with school districts to deliver in-district classrooms and standalone schools supporting K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs.

Collaborate with staff to implement customized behavior support plans, monitor progress, and document incidents within a multidisciplinary team. The role includes crisis de-escalation, communication with families, and fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Emotional consistency and resilience to handle stressful situations.
• Flexibility and willingness to jump in and support where needed to ensure safety and well-being of staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and leaders to support students with intensive behavioral needs.
• Provide monitoring and support throughout the school site (classrooms, transition areas, etc.).
• Support the creation and implementation of behavior support plans.
• Record, track, and document behavioral incidents and progress toward goals.
• Utilize PBIS strategies and school incentive programs.
• Implement de-escalation techniques, crisis management, and physical intervention if necessary for safety.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment to develop social and behavioral skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to differentiate support for more intensive needs.
• Participate in debriefings after challenging behavior or crises.
• Facilitate communication with parents.
