Job summary

Damar Services is seeking compassionate individuals to join our Children’s Residential program in Indianapolis. You will provide direct support, supervise clients, and help them build daily living and social skills. Training is provided to ensure safety and effective intervention.

Starting pay is $15.25 per hour with comprehensive benefits, training, and opportunities for growth. We welcome applicants with or without experience, and dependents are supported through tuition assistance and 401(k)

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program; 18–21 for Direct Support Technician roles.
• Provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record meeting insurance carrier requirements.
• Clear of felony convictions and other disqualifying criminal convictions.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Favorable background screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for clients, manage crises, promote appropriate social behaviors, and support daily living and social skills.
• Complete required documentation daily in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment and participate in recreational and life enrichment activities.
• Respond effectively to client behaviors and emergencies and follow behavior management plans.
