Damar Services, Inc. in Indiana seeks a Residential Manager to lead, direct and monitor treatment services within our Children’s Residential Services.

You will oversee day-to-day operations and supervise Lead Staff, ensuring high-quality client care and program compliance. The role offers a starting salary of $45,000 per year, tuition assistance, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) participation, life and disability insurance, paid holidays and PTO, plus ongoing training to support staff development

Qualifications

• One year of people management experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree combined with one year of experience in behavioral challenges and/or ID/DD population.
• Associate degree and 2 years of experience in similar settings acceptable.
• High School Diploma or GED with four years of experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees the day-to-day residential operations of assigned campus building or group home.
• Manages all employee functions of Lead Staff including recruitment, on the job training, coaching and mentoring, performance appraisals, and performance management functions.
• On-boarding new staff to acclimate to Damar expectations around client care and service excellence.
• Completes outing sheets and off-ground checklists with the QDDP.
• Ensures clients are safe to go for an off-ground outing.
• Remains up to date on treatment best practices to meet client demands.
• Provides staff training on required topics and manages staff schedules within budget.
