Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 classrooms and in-district programs.

You will work one-on-one and in small groups under supervision to implement behavior plans and PBIS strategies while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in an educational setting with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and track data on progress.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation strategies.
• Monitor and supervise students in diverse school settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
