Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in a K-12 setting at B.E.S.T Academy, Wallingford, CT.

You will implement behavior support, assist with life skills, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic guidance. Responsibilities include one-on-one support, data tracking, plan modification, and collaboration with parents and staff to ensure student safety and progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience in educational settings with behavioral interventions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans.
• Record data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to implement plans.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
